Being an editor in the media industry is arguably the most important role in the industry. An editor has to cut and put a sequence together to make a film or TV programme the best it can be. It is quite a high pressure job as every single cut has to be perfect, if a cut is a second early or a second late it will look unproffesional and will ruin a sequence. However due to current technology and software, editing is a much easier task than it used to be.
