Financial Jobs
An accountant or finance manager in a film or TV company is responsible for managing the budget and advising companies on how to spend the budget money. The accountant would spend a lot of time with all the production staff to produce budget schedules to ensure the money is being spent at the right time and the right place. A film accountant would need a lot of accounting experience as there is a lot of money involved in a film production and would need some experience to ensure that as much money as possible could made and as little amount of money would be lost. Another role in finance is a line producer. This job entitles someone to convince big companys to sponsor their films or TV programmes which brings in more money to the film comapny . This requires a lot of enthusiam, confidence and you have to be a persuasive person to make the huge companies invest in your film.
